  9. Categories are somewhat limited…nobody’s created a fashion blog category. And what about entrepreneurship? If you can’t tell, my blog is fashion-entrepreneurship :)

  10. the only catagory i would add would be “best blog by a child” there is a 12 year old boy from holland who blogs in dutch (and has an english translation page) that is so incredibly well done, but i dont know where to nominate a kids life blog so i will put it here and perhaps someone else will know :

  11. It took me a year to think of this again but it seems like it’s still a valid point… If you wish to pick the best of blogs regardless of host or software used, why only offer prizes from WiredHub?

    I know they’re a sponsor, and that the intention is to bring attention to worthy blogs, but if you are going to offer prizes in addition to recognition, isn’t that a little limited?

    I won services from them in last year’s BoBs and was denied them because I was an existing customer and my particular prize (first month free or something) was only for new customers.

    I am no longer a customer (long story) and so would not have a use for any of the prizes, nor would anyone else not using or planning to use WiredHub.

    Ridiculous!

    Fashion blogs have had dozens of articles written about them this year, most recently in the New York Times, and some of the biggest fashion blogs are among the most often visited blogs going.

    But you’ve chosed to ignore them in favor of the all important “weight loss” blog.

    We do have other prizes, but I am a slacker and have yet to get them all together in one place where I can sort them and give them a home. We will be offering other prizes in addition to the hosting offered by Wired Hub.
