One day Johnny’s friend Bob, whilst drunk, suggested that Johnny go and teach English in China.

So he did.

Johnny arrived in Beijing understanding hardly a word of Chinese. His plans were to teach English at a Chinese university for at least six months, while learning the language and immersing himself in the culture – thus allowing him to seamlessly blend in with society.

Here’s what actually happened.
