After years of making connections, posting multiple times a week, signing up for every social network from Facebook to Twitter, you’ve finally turned your lonely blog into everybody’s must read. The hits just keep on coming and now your site gets more on weeks when you don’t post than others who write everyday get in a month. Congratulations you’re a successful blogger!! But what about your Blogroll? You know!! Those guys to the right of your page fighting their way up your favorites list hoping a wondering eye will be intrigued by their title. They deserve some love too right?

If you’re one of the superstars of the Blog-o-sphere than now’s your chance to help give the little guy the helping hand someone once gave you. All you gotta do is take that Blogroll you’re constantly adding to and nominate them for a Best Of Blog award. Now I know you could use the surge in traffic that comes from winning/being nominated, but don’t worry nominating is a two way street. When you nominate someone for one or more categories (that’s right you can nominate a blog for more than one category) you are asked to enter your name and your sites URL. This means that not only are you giving a blogger a chance to see some very high numbers, you are also advertising your site as well.
