The Best of Blogs

I thought that i had a great chance of being a finalist, especially since my blog is so new and fresh and creative. I am really disappointed that I might not have even been considered and seriously there were only 11 nominees. I have looked at quite a few of the blogs in different categories and I have to say none of them are particularly the best I have ever seen. It would be nice to go for the underdog. I was optimistic at first and figured, if not, i would try again next year, but I am beyond disappointed and will not try again. Good luck to those who did make it but you would have to do a lot of convincing to assure me that any of them are better than me or my blog. It took a whole week for the results and they were put up in the middle of the night and a week late. I hope this is a lot more organized next year and maybe then more people will respond. Are there other nominees not on the list because some of these I cannot even find and at first can I thought one was mines but I am not sure what’s what because some of these are not on the pop culture list, I have clicked every one of them and realized a couple are nominated in other categories, so was I really the only one single handedly left out? If anyone else know, let me know please, thanks. Do they change your blog name once you are a finalist or are there really other nominees I did not know about?

My husband and I can’t get enough of Urban Etiquette – so irreverant, so hilarious! Those guys call out all of the inconsiderate people that make us crazy!

And the blog’s (sometimes crass) contributing editors are a riot! I love Margaret Foster the best. Hubby loves Shadenfraede (sp?)
