Best Mommy Blog
Last year we combined the Mommy and Daddy bloggers into one Parenting category for various reasons, but this time around we felt each deserved the credit they were due. Is there another type of blogger that puts more of their heart into every post like our mommy bloggers? Mommies everywhere are showing off their pregnant bellies, swapping tips on how to calm a teething baby, and letting us in on what it takes to run a home, have a career, and raise a child. This year give your favorite mommy blogger an early Mothers Day gift by nominating them as BEST MOMMY BLOGGER

NICU 101 was developed by a medical doctor mommy, Kristie McNealy, MD, whom went through the tragedy of having not only one, but two prematurely born children. Now, Dr. McNealy has dedicated herself to serving and informing the parents of preemie babies, through her blogs.
Her URL is http://www.nicu101.com.

My mom’s blog so deserves to win for best mommy blog. She raised us four boys, plus by two brothers and sisters as she calls it that she “inherited” when she married by step pops. Plus our cousin became kid number 9. Her stories, about us, her life and marriage and the lessons learned are a great source of inspiration and guidance for anyone trying to raise a blended family.
Plus my mom is just plain cool and funny!

My friend, Rebecca D. has an active, creative, funny new blog that shares tons of information about her life as a mom and raising 2 active young children. Check it out here

I vote for this Blog to win for
“Best Mommy Blog”
cheers
By carlaheiney on Mar 8, 2008
I have to agree my mom’s blog is awesome! and everything she writes about comes from the reality of having 9 kids and most of their friends over at our house any given moment!
The lessons she writes about are so true and we have countless friends who are now grown, married and some with children of their own, who still look to “Mom” for inspiration!

Three-year-old blog Momnesia explores the insanity of the lives of two parents employed by the media. An inside look at the press, parenting, the challenge of a dual-career family and the ties that bind them together… and choke the living $#!^ out of them. Click on an ad every once in a while, okay? That would be great.

I must nominate the Weirdgirl at http://weirdgirl.typepad.com for Best Mommy Blog. This sassy mom has a great way of writing about the quirky, humorous and, sometimes freightening sides of raising a kid, working, and just living in these strange times. You’ve been there. Check it out.

Witty…intelligent…touching…entertaining. This blog is so well written it should be a weekly column in the newspaper—that is, if anyone read read the paper anymore.

My wife just started a blog that we all think is awesome. Of course, I’m biased, but check out her entry, “Everyone Poops” or “A Saintly Day” and I think you’ll agree.

Shamelessly (almost) nominating myself – not because I think I’m the best (working on the hypothesis that there is always someone out there who is better), BUT those who blog do it for the readers as much as for themselves. So here’s to hoping for hits!

Menopausaloldbag claims she loves my blog so much that she nominated me for this award, but I think she’s full of hot air because I don’t see my nomination anywhere. Typical. All talk and no follow through. Therefore, I’d like to nominate myself on her behalf.
I write a mommy blog. I’m not doing anything new. In fact, I have no idea what I’m doing. But I like to write, so I’m doing that.

It is an inspiring blog and Andrea is an inspiring woman and mother.

I nominate punk rock mommy. Not because it is about parenting, but about this woman’s daily life with her children and husband. She is a great writer, and as she battles stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer, spends time and does fun stuff with her family.
By Jesse on May 19, 2008
I nominate punk rock mommy. It is the most inspirational writing I have ever read. I have grown tremendously from her thoughts on God, family, Faith and Hope. She is a beautiful person and I love every one of her children right with her and her husband.
By Gayle Lysne on May 20, 2008
I am nominating punkrockmommy.org because I think it truly encompases so much of what family is about, in addition to the heart wrenchingly honest story of Andrea and her family facing the challenge of IBC. You can’t spend any time with this blog without being deeply touched – and inspired.
By Bill on May 23, 2008
